c. 1930's vintage hospital kitchen cafeteria freestanding four-legged "prep" table with original and largely intact white porcelain enameled rolled rim tabletop. the side table is comprised largely of folded and pressed furniture sheet steel with a brushed metal finish. the stationary table contains two matching pull-out drawers with original oversized faceted "crystal" glass knob or drawer pulls. the four detachable post legs are slightly tapered. the tabletop is made of cold-rolled heavy gauge steel. possibly fabricated by the the hoosier manufacturing co., new castle, ind. measures 40 x 25 x 30 1/2 inches.
