large lot of original and intact ornamental cast brass interior residential 19th century passage size doorknobs likely executed by yale and towne or russell and erwin. the group of nicely aged heavy brass doorknobs feature a fluted and radial pattern with centrally located buttons. the surface patina varies from one doorknob to the next. the 1890's doorknobs were salvaged from a chicago greystone undergoing demolition.
