several matching original and intact early 20th century pressed and/or stamped steel interior residential passage door backplates and doorknobs possibly fabricated by the reading hardware company, reading, pa. the original copper-plated finish varies from one plate or knob to the next. the ornamental builders door hardware was salvaged from a chicago two-flat graystone built around 1910. priced for the lot. the refinished hardware has been sealed with a clear coat lacquer.
