all original 19th century antique american ornamental cast brass interior residential passage door circular-shaped rosettes or doorknob escutcheons likely designed and fabricated by branford lock works, branford, ct. the large lot of matching rosettes were salvaged from a chicago residence undergoing demolition. the rosettes were paired with matching brass key plates (listed separately) and "jet" black porcelain doorknobs. the passage door rosettes contain a nicely aged surface patina that varies from one rosette to the other. priced for the lot. measure approximately 2 inches in diameter.
