group of four matching original and intact "roanoke" pattern interior residential passage door backplates and doorknobs designed and fabricated by the reading hardware company, reading pa. the stamped ornamental brass doorknobs and backplates exhibit a mostly uniform surface patina throughout. the backplates were fabricated during the late 19th or early 20th century. priced for the lot. 8 x 2 inches. several lots available - all salvaged from the same chicago residence built around the run of the century.
