intricately carved american depression era c. 1930's folk or tramp art diminutive hinged top jewelry box comprised of walnut wood salvaged from old cigar boxes

largely intact c. 1930's original antique american tramp or "hobo" art jewelry box comprised of walnut wood cigar boxes. the artist is not known. the hinged top diminutive box or portable case contains allover intricate carvings featuring floral motifs. the top of the case is accentuated with pearl inlay. the two metal hinges are original to the box. the interior fabric liner is original or possibly an early replacement. mostly uniform patina throughout. measures 10 x 6 x 2 1/2 inches.
