one of several matching original and intact c. 1930's double-sided flush mount illuminated ruby red glass exit light wall sconces designed and fabricated by or for the kliegl brothers, new york city, ny. the shade itself was likely fabricated by the kopp glass company, pittsburgh, pa. the fixture and/or shade fitter is comprised of steel with a metallic silver paint finish. the set screws designed to secure the shade in place are intact. the double-sided wedge-shaped ruby red glass globe contains the original baked-on white paint lettering. the fixture was salvaged from a downtown chicago hotel undergoing renovations. measures 9 x 5 inches.
