original c. 1927 universal design book "no. 25" hardcover catalog combining the works of m.a. disbrow & co., imperial sash and door company, and nebraska lumber & millwork co. into one large complete residential millwork design book. this 3rd edition book introduces itself as a one stop shopping catalog for any and all millwork designs, stating "some of the old designs which were very popular have been retained and modified and many new designs of proven value and practical construction have been added." this 356 page book includes their 1927 collection of doors, windows and sashes, staircases, closets, mouldings and glasswork. each section contains subcategories of materials with detailed illustrations and dimensions. this early 20th century hardcover book has slight wear to the cover with a few paint spots. the highly ornate cover with raised lettering, has some wear to the head and feet of the spine. the binding is still completely intact and all pages remains secure. the catalog's pages are complete, with only a few tears and pencil notations made by the previous owner.
