strong and sturdy c. 1930's american industrial pressed and folded heavy gauge rolled steel tool box or cabinet possibly fabricated by or for the union tool chest works, rochester, ny. the durable tool box was salvaged from an upstate new york machine shop. the oversized flat bar drop handle is original and in working condition. the tool box contains a single spacious undivided interior with distressed red paint finish. the handle and exterior have been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. measures approximately 20 x 8 x 4 inches.
