structurally sound and stable c. 1940's vintage industrial custom-built factory machine table base repurposed into a sitting bench or narrow coffee table. the robust bench was salvaged from a chicago tool & die shop. the base is comprised of four tubular steel legs reinforced with cross-bracing. the angled steel channels containing multiple pre-drilled holes are bolted firmly to the four-legged base. uniform brushed steel finish treated with protective cleat coat lacquer. the old growth thick pine wood slab seat has been planed down, sanded and sealed. measures approximately 40 x 11 x 21 inches.
