original late 19th century "new old stock" antique american victorian era oxidized copper-plated fireplace screen designed and fabricated by the dawson brothers, chicago, ills. each interconnected panel features a taught meshed screen that prevents sparking embers from flying onto floors and furniture. the hinged side panels have handles to let you position the screen to fit your fireplace and to easily move the screen for adding firewood and/or cleaning the fireplace. excellent overall condition. measures 42 inches high x 42 across, both are 84 inches in length when fully extended.
