c. 1930's vintage industrial stationary "no.280" factory office posture chair. retains the original contoured birch wood seat and backrest. the seat is adjustable forward and backward in relation to backrest. structurally sound and sturdy four-legged angled steel base with flared or outswept feet. height fully adjustable. fabricated by the angle steel stool co., plainwell, mi. stools and chairs made specifically for the "posture line" were almost always finished in a dark olive green enameled finish "baked on."
