exceptional c. 1900's original and intact american freestanding clothing store garment rack designed and fabricated by the great western fixture works, chicago, il. the impressive mobile garment display rack contains a revolving tubular wrought brass ring supported by multiple riveted joint angled steel brackets. the yellow brass pole or upright is supported my a heavy four-legged cast iron base retaining the original diminutive cast iron wheels. the deeply embossed iron base contains elegant leafage and other complimenting floral motifs. the brass and iron components have been refinished and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the original lightly embossed manufacturer markings are present along the garment rack's mobile base. excellent overall condition, considering age. base measures 22 x 22 inches, height measures 74 inches and circular rack measures 29 inches in diameter.
