rare and highly sought after original c. 1870's ornamental cast bronze interior residential window sash lock designed and patented by william gorman of new britian, ct. the fully functional window lock features a highly unique floral pattern inspired by the egyptian lotus flower. original keeper intact. the swinging or pivoting arm features two elegantly designed finials. the sash-fastener contains a total of pre-drilled holes for mounting purposes. naturally aged surface patina left untouched. two matching locks available. fabricated by the russell & erwin mfg. co., new britain, ct. two matching window locks available.
