hard to find american depression era art deco machine age markel table lamp with chrome-plated "speed ring" finials

original and completely intact american art deco markel adjustable table or desk lamp. the folded steel pivoting shade or reflector retains the original bronze "wash" or plated finish, accentuated with flanking bands of chrome. the two ball-tipped finials with tapering discs are original to the lamp. the bent steel support members or arms terminate at and/or flank centrally located stacked discs with black bakelite on/off switch. the chocolate brown rectangular base features chrome banding highlighted by incised "speed" line. manufactured by the markel electric products co., buffalo, ny. measures 12 x 12 x 6 inches.
