three matching original c. 1890's american made stamped heavy gauge steel interior residential "ceylon" pattern doorknob backplates designed and fabricated by the p. & f. corbin co., new britain, ct. the heavily ornamented backplates with deeply incised detailing remain in great overall condition, considering age. the pressed and folded wrought steel thimbles or collars remains intact. measures approximately 5 1/2 x 1 1/2 inches. priced for the lot of three.
