group of three matching early 20th century ornamental cast iron "cambridge" pattern oval-shaped interior residential doorknob backplates. salvaged from a chicago graystone residence built around 1900-05. the three backplates contain traces of the original copper-plated finish. fabricated by the lockwood manufacturing co., south norwalk, conn. measure approximately 7 1/4 x 2 1/4 inches. priced for the lot of three.
