group of three oversized lightweight pressed and folded aluminum number signs salvaged from the facade of a post fire building located at 209 west lake street. the address numbers were likely fabricated years ago by the white way sign co., chicago, il. the industrial numbers were carefully removed with no damage evident. a weathered and worn surface patina from prolonged exposure to the elements evident. the building was constructed shortly after the great chicago fire for the osborne and adams leather goods company. the building has been since been demolished. priced for the lot of three.
