original and finely crafted late 19th or early 20th century antique american victorian era residential parlor hall tree coat hook possibly fabricated by the yale & towne mfg. co., stamford, ct. the ornamental cast iron triple-hook features a open-mouthed figural grotesque. the highly decorative flush mount hook contains a mostly uniform brushed metal finish.
