original early 20th century american antique quartered oak wood hinged cabinet door designed and fabricated by the gutmann store fixtures co., chicago, il. the cabinet door retains the original varnished finish. the loose pin hinges with ball finials and cabinet latch are original. the single recessed panel contains a visually striking "tiger stripe" wood grain pattern. the cabinet door was salvaged from a massive wall cabinet that was badly damaged through neglect and abandonment. discovered in the basement of the chicago athletic association building annex. likely dates to around 1907-10. multiple cabinet doors available in different sizes. priced individually. measures approximately 21 1/2 x 32 1/2 inches.
