original highly stylized ornamental cast brass interior residential single electric pendant light. the polychromatic brass single light fixture was likely fabricated by the harry alter lighting co., chicago, il. the spanish baroque style pendant is comprised of cast brass with unique polychrome enameled interconnected shields surrounding the fully enclosed bare bulb socket. the salvaged chicago light fixture retains the original stamped yellow brass ceiling cap or canopy. measures 34 x 7 inches.
