c. 1910-20 american industrial three-legged fanciful cast iron freestanding adjustable height "magician stand" possibly fabricated by the oaks magical co., oshkosh, wi. the weighted tripod base supports a finely turned and tapered pedestal column with telescoping extension comprised of iron. the diminutive platform is made of pine wood and is fully adjustable using a ball & socket joint found on the underside. the unusual industrial stand has been refinished and treated with a clear coat lacquer.
