intact antique american industrial c. 1920's lightweight compact factory worker portable lunchbox or dinner pail designed and fabricated by j. spaulding & sons co., kennebunk, me., or the john range co., cleveland, oh. the portable galvanized tin pail retains the original finely turned wood carrying handle. the detachable lid contains a centrally located drinking cup with handle (mounted upside down). the interior contains a spacious single compartment with removable food tray. nicely aged surface patina. measures 10 x 6 x 12 inches.
