structurally sound and sturdy lightweight early 20th century american medical adjustable height hospital operating room examination stool designed and fabricated by william v. willis & co., philadelphia, pa. the refinished (i.e., brushed metal) medical stool contains a four-legged bent iron base with flared feet. a single circular heel or foot ring is welded firmly against each leg. the revolving pressed and folded seat contains a threaded steel rod or spindle, allowing the seat to move upwards or downwards through rotation. excellent overall condition.
