original and nicely aged c. 1920's american industrial unornamented cast bronze surface mount factory cargo elevator can or car control plaque designed and fabricated by or for the otis elevator company, new york city, ny. the oversized industrial solid bronze metal plaque contains openings for controlling the functionality of the elevator, along with a safety shut-off switch and hole once containing a toggle switch to turn the cab dome or overhead light on or off. the plaque has four screw holes for mounting purposes. great overall condition. multiple old elevator components salvaged from a chicago area factory. measures 12 x 4 inches
