original antique american 19th century victorian era loose pin interior residential ornamental cast iron door hinge likely fabricated by p. & f. corbin or russell & erwin. the two matching leaves contain intricately designed foliated scrollwork surrounding a multitude of pre-drilled screw holes. the fanciful turned and tapered cast iron steeple type finials are original and intact. the patented hinge was likely fabricated between 1870-75. measures 5 x 4 inches.
