original c. 1930's antique american depression era four-legged stationary factory machine shop workbench stool designed and fabricated by the angle steel stool co., plainwell, mi. the industrial stool contains an angled steel base reinforced with ground-level stretchers. the slightly protruding footrest is welded firmly against the front two legs. the birch wood seat and backrest are intact. original black enameled finish over steel. measures 13 x 13 1/2 x 40 inches. seat height measures 24 1/2 inches.
