highly sought after original finely designed c. 1930's american depression era art deco style "batwing" pattern five-light interior residential ceiling fixture designed and fabricated by the mid-west chandelier co., kansas city, mo. the completely restored lighting fixture retains the original polychromatic enameled finish over cast aluminum. the original pressed steel tapered ceiling canopy and perforated finial are in great condition. the two-tone baked enameled pressed glass slip or "slipper" shades are original and free from damage. the sockets and wiring have been replaced and/or upgraded. the chain can be adjusted to achieve desired height. great overall condition. chandelier diameter measures 19 inches, total fixture height from flush mount measures 35 height.
