exceptionally well-built and completely intact american vintage industrial heavy gauge steel four-legged work stand or table salvaged from a chicago die forge factory. the exact fabricator is not known although the table was likely custom-built in the factory's machine shop. the brushed metal finish has been treated with a clear coat lacquer to prevent surface oxidation. the angled and slightly tapered legs support two equally-sized folded and pressed steel shelves or tiers (i.e., tabletop and undershelf). the square-shaped floor plates provided added support and stability. measures 20 x 12 x 30 inches.
