original antique american medical intact dome-shaped bell jar comprised of a clear glass jar and matching ornamental black painted walnut wood base. the glass dome and wood base are free from damage (e.g., breaks, cracks, etc). the walnut wood base contains a unique ornamented wood circular band. the enameled finish does show some wear. the medium-sized jar was likely distributed by fuller and fuller of chicago. the exact fabricator is not known. base diameter of 6 inches, stands 12 inches in height
