single 19th century all original ornamental cast bronze decorative residential push button electric door bell possibly fabricated by yale & towne or norwich. the ornamental solid bronze metal push button door bell escutcheon contains a mostly uniform surface patina throughout. the spring-loaded push button is original to the door bell. originally mounted flush against the wall of a victorian era residence.
