unusual late 1860's or early 1870's antique american diminutive salesman sample in the form of a pressed wood "business card" designed and fabricated by the ornamental wood mfg. co., bridgeport, conn. the "card" features the company name and/or log surrounded by various scenes of the company's manufacturing activities. the reverse features a list of addresses in cities where their doorknobs and other ornamental wood goods are sold. very rare early advertising in exceptional condition.
