original and intact american vintage medical portable examination room supply cart fabricated by the w.d. allison mfg. co., indianapolis, ind. the single-drawer cart retains the original black porcelain enameled tabletop, partially enclosed by a three-sided black enameled railguard. the slightly tapered angled steel legs retain the original swivel casters. the pull-out drawer handle is comprised of bakelite with two parallel incised lines accentuated with white paint. the lower tier and/or storage shelf is welded tightly against the legs. brushed metal finish. measures 20 x 16 x 33 inches.
