original and largely intact single brightly colored american depression era hand-painted wood metal lathe measurement chart salvaged from an a. finkl & sons foundry machine shop. the industrial folk art sign is comprised of wood with a distressed allover yellow paint finish with hand-applied writing. the c. 1930's sign was removed from one of the machine shops shortly before it was demolished. the single-sided sign has been lightly cleaned. measures 8 1/2 x 11 inches.
