early 20th century antique american industrial wall or surface mount "slave" or secondary factory time clock designed and fabricated by the hahl automatic clock company. the golden oak wood-encased pneumatic time clock retains the original well-maintained planished white enameled steel clock face with fanciful black enameled hour and second hands. this clock was originally connected to the "master" clock or time recorder. salvaged from a recently shuttered old chicago twine factory building. the quartered oak wood cabinet or case is structurally sound and stable. the protruding bezel surrounding the clock face is comprised of wood with original black paint finish. the clear and "wavy" plate glass used to protect the face of the clock is original and free from damage. surface wear and traces of surface paint evident. measurements 15 1/2 inches x 3 3/4 inches x 15 3/4.inches.
