original early 20th century antique american ornamental cast iron interior residential "reole" pattern doorknob designed and fabricated by the reading hardware co., reading, pa. the iron passage size doorknob contains a detailed centrally located cartouche surrounded by scrolls. the doorknob contains a mostly uniform metallic bronze finish. measures approximately 2 1/4 inches in diameter.
