original late 19th century american victorian era ornamental cast iron interior residential fireplace summer cover designed and fabricated by the w.l. sharp & son co., steubenville, oh. the perforated summer cover features a centrally located screen consisting of a repeating gothic style quatrefoil design motif. the original baked black enameled or "japanned" finish remains largely intact. two matching summer covers available. priced individually. measures approximately 23 x 29 inches.
