very unique and distinctive vintage american industrial repurposed freestanding "equipto" storage cabinet and/or low-lying side table fabricated in part by aurora metal products inc., aurora, il. the cabinet is comprised of cold-rolled pressed and folded furniture steel with eight matching sliding drawers. the original pressed steel handles and label slots or holders are all intact. the cabinet has been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the newly added four-legged tapered stationary base and tabletop are made of solid red oak with a darkly stained finish. the finely crafted industrial furniture piece is both stable and secure. measures 24 1/2 x 13 x 21 inches.
