original and intact c. 1920's american medical hand-painted cast plaster five times life-size human ear anatomical model designed and fabricated by the central scientific co., chicago, il. the well-maintained instructional model is a detailed depiction of the human organ of hearing and balance, with a detailed sagittal section along the length of the auditory canal and eustachian tube. the model contains several hand-applied black enameled numbers corresponding to various regions and/or structures. original varnished birch wood base with name plaque. measures 13 x 6 x 11 inches.
