early 20th century antique american industrial hand-painted folk art storefront "electrical appliances repaired" advertising sign. the single-sided wood sign retains the original steel eye screw hooks for hanging purposes. the polychrome enameled sign features a navy blue background, outlined in red with fanciful white lettering. discoloration, wear and crazing evident. the sign was fabricated by the artist and/or sign co. identified as "bucher." comprised of pine wood. likely hung in the display window or office of an old repair shop. measures 26 x 8 inches.
