all-riveted joint heavy gauge steel unrestored original green enameled factory machinist's stool with distinctive inward turned ball feet

late 1930's american industrial stationary four-legged machinist's stool designed and fabricated by the angle steel stool co., plainwell, mich. the stool retains the original unrestored (but lightly cleaned) dark olive green enameled finish. the all-metal base is reinforced with riveted joint stretchers throughout. the inward-turned ball feet provide added support and stability. salvaged from a chicago machine shop. measures approximately 15 x 15 x 24 with a seat diameter of 14 inches.
