all original single late 1920's nickel-plated cast bronze first national bank building interior teller cage pilaster urn-shaped finial

documented freestanding original c. 1929 highly polished nickel-plated ornamental cast bronze pilaster urn-shaped finial salvaged from the first national bank and trust company building, east chicago, ind. the classical revival style finial features a tapered urn with egg & dart trim and torch. the interior bank lobby pilasters were positioned between each teller cage. the first national bank was designed by architect/engineer john rahn in the neoclassical style. the bank was robbed in 1934 by john dillinger. the finials measure 8 inches in height, with a 3 inch base. multiple sets available.
