all original late 1850's hard to find long neck iron-pontiled light blue glass "c. sundell & co." soda and/or mineral water bottle unearthed in downtown chicago

hard to find cornflower blue glass iron pontiled bottle distributed by c. sundell & co., chicago, il. the 1858-1859 bottle has a narrow neck with intact applied blob top. the body has boldly embossed lettering around the bottle, “c.sundell & co.” and beneath that, “chicago, ill.” the pontiled base retains some of the original iron resin left from the coated pontil rod and has a slightly pointed indentation. the unearthed chicago bottle was discovered in downtown chicago at a large excavation site.
