fully functional late 1940's vintage american industrial "do-more" mobile stool and/or chair designed, patented, and fabricated by the domore posture chair company, elkhart, ind. the versatile stool is comprised of lightweight bent tubular steel that has been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the original green colored cushioned seat and contoured backrest are in great shape, considering age. the posture chair contains their distinctive adjustable seatback with tilting or pivoting contoured and padded backrest. the clean and compact chair retains the original bassick swivel casters. salvaged from a factory specializing in the fabrication of parts for the aerospace industry. measures 23 x 23 x 38 1/2 inches. seat measures 11 x 16 inches.
