c. 1920's original and intact well-maintained pressed and folded lightweight steel doctor's examination room side table or cabinet designed and manufactured by william v. willis & co., philadelphia, pa. the four-legged table retains the original highly desirable faux wood grain baked-on enameled finish over steel. the heavy gauge steel detachable tabletop contains a "jet black" vitreous or porcelain enameled finish. the three-sided railguard is bolted tightly against the cabinet's sides. the two pull-out or sliding drawers are original with matching handles. the steel undershelf contains a matching faux wood finish. the lightweight antique american medical cabinet is structurally sound and sturdy. measures 29 3/4 in length x 16 1/4 wide x 30 inches high.
