single c. 1950's american vintage industrial four-legged adjustable height factory machinist stool designed and fabricated by lyon metal products inc., aurora, il. the stool contains telescoping legs with closely spaced pre-drilled holes for achieving the desired height. the backrest is riveted against two bands of steel that are mounted along the underside of the seat. the lyon factory stool contains a spacious rounded edge seat with composite cover over metal. a nicely aged yellow paint finish has been lightly cleaned, but otherwise left intact.
