late 19th century ornamental cast iron interior residential salvaged chicago fireplace gas insert front designed and fabricated by the dawson brothers, chicago, ills. the insert has been fully refurbished. the detachable summer cover retains the original brass knob pulls. the black enameled finish is uniform throughout.
