c. 1870's antique american ornamental cast iron interior residential loose pin passage door hinge likely fabricated by the russell & erwin mfg. co., new britain, ct. the victorian era door hinge each leaf contains three screw holes for mounting purposes. the abstract floral motifs are found on the knuckles in addition to the flanking leaves. the steeple-shaped finials are original and intact. measures 3 x 3 inches.
