hard to find single-sided c. 1880's antique american interior residential eastlake style cast brass "oriental" pattern dead lock strike plate designed and fabricated by branford lock works, branford, ct. the oversized strike plate retains the original baked black enameled finish used to accentuate the casting detail. nicely aged surface patina throughout. 5.25 x 2 inches.
