very unique c. 1920's american vintage industrial four-legged custom-built machinist stool salvaged from an old southern ohio gear and sprocket factory. the structurally sound and sturdy stationary stool is comprised largely of heavy gauge welded joint steel pipes. the base is heavily reinforced with two distinct tiers of stretchers affixed to each of the legs. the pressed and folded malleable iron seat is weathered and worn, with dings and dents evident. the stool has been thoroughly refinished and treated with a clear coat lacquer. measures 26 inches in height, seat measures 12 5/8".
